Correction: An intense firefight recorded from a Russian soldiers perspective has recently surfaced, displaying the dreadful life of "trench warfare".

Limited information surrounding this footage has indicated this particular fighting occurred outside the east Ukrainian city of Kremenna. In mid-April 2022, chairman of the Luhansk RSA Serhiy Gaidai announced Russian invaders had captured and controlled the region, and further evacuation from the area was no longer an option.

As shown in this short video, Russian forces appear to be dominating the area, as they overtake a Ukrainian fighting position with superior firepower. Secondary footage that has circulated has also indicated the footage was recorded in April 2022.

Completely unrelated, but I just think back to what World War 1 was like when I see combat footage like this... What an experience that would have been.
