Footage from Bakhmut recorded by Wagner mercenary fighters shows Russian Tos-1A thermobaric rockets hammering the last few city blocks still under control by Ukrainian forces.

It has taken the Wagner group nearly a years and thousands of lives, but they are on the cusp of taking the city. However, Ukrainian forces have made large gains on the flanks of the city, driving Russian conventional forces into retreat, which puts the Wagner mercenaries at risk of envelopment. The battle for the smoldering heap of rubble that is Bakhmut may be far from over.
