Russian Proxies Film Themselves Under Accurate Ukrainian Artillery Barrage

Footage likely from the Battle of Debaltseve Jan.-Feb. 2015, shows Russian proxy fighters probably of the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) taking incoming Ukrainian artillery, and one of the impacts explodes within a few meters of their position.

The Battle of Debaltseve started as a joint military operation between the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) and the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) as they formed a wedge around the city of Dabeltseve in Donetsk in an attempt to drive the Ukrainian Armed Forces out.

The Russian proxies, consisting of approximately 15,000 troops were successful in retaking the city from the smaller Ukrainian force (approximately 6,000 troops), but at a heavy cost. The DPR and LPR lost nearly 4,000 fighters, while the Ukrainians lost 200-500 (figures very due to missing soldiers later recovered as dead bodies) before completing their retreat.
