Dutch MARSOF Boards "Hijacked" Ship With Jetpack

Dutch Maritime Special Operations Forces (MARSOF) took flight with a Gravity Industries jetpack and simulated boarding a hijacked vessel during a proof-of-concept demonstration in the Netherlands.

The Dutch operator was able to board the target vessel significantly faster than two different teams of operators using speed boats and helicopters. Once onboard, the soldier can then prep boarding ladders in advance of the arrival of the boarding team. The video also demonstrated that the soldier was able to exfiltrate the vessel as well.
