(NSFW) Part 2: Blind Firing Rebel Gets his Hand Blown Open

Another video of a Syrian Rebel randomly firing his AK-47 around the corner ends with him catching return fire, literally. This is the second time we've seen a video like this, but at least this one isn't fratricide.

When you spend a lot of time documenting a war, you start to notice similar situations happening over and over again. One of those situations is captured in this video, and the end-result is a Syrian Rebel literally catching a bullet with his hand as a result of blind-firing randomly in the direction of the enemy. If you haven't seen the other version of this video, here's a quick link that will get you to it.

In that video, one Syrian Rebel shoots his friend in the hand when he decided to randomly attempt blind-firing around a corner where his buddy is. In this video, we're seeing a rebel catch return fire directly in his hand as it's the only exposed portion of his body. Now, what's the moral of the story you might ask?

Quit blind firing around corners, and just find another avenue of approach where you can get better shots on the enemy. Maybe try goin gup some stairs and firing down on them, since you're in an ultra urban environment and are capable of creating a completely dynamic 3-dimensional threat to your enemy.
