7 Pakistani Troops Killed In IED Blast

Footage from Aug. 7, 2023 reportedly shows a Pakistani Military Intelligence vehicle being targeted by a BLF separatist improvised explosive device, resulting in the deaths of seven Pakistani soldiers.

The casualty figure is used on the Balochistan Liberation Front's (BLF) reports, and are not verifiable by us. However, based on the footage, the IED attack certainly resulted in a catastrophic kill of the vehicle.

The various Baluchistan insurgent groups are fighting for autonomy and independence from the Pakistani government, as they claim they have no representation within the government and their region of the nation is being exploited for resources and sold off to Chinese development projects.
