A recent story emerging from New Delhi, India, resembles actions from a Hollywood movie, after two gunmen dressed as lawyers entered a courtroom and opened fire on a defendant standing trial.

The intense shooting happened on Friday, September 24th, 2021, which left the defendant standing trial, deceased. Additionally, the two armed gunmen were later killed in the same courtroom, after Delhi police officers responded to the shots fired and engaged the two suspects. At this time, there is an ongoing investigation, determining the motives of the two armed assassins.

In a later press release, the man standing trial, Jitender Gogi, had been jailed for the last year for involvement in numerous criminal cases. Gogi was arrested for his alleged involvement in 19 murder and attempted murder charges.

Without a definitive decision at this time, it is currently believed the issue occurred due to a rivalry of gangs.
