Cell phone video posted to TikTok by a Ukrainian Soldier shows a section of Mi-24 helicopters conducting an unguided rocket attack against Russian forces. It's unclear where this video was filmed.

If you're wondering why we sometimes don't have context for footage like this coming out of Ukraine, it's actually pretty simple. Often videos like this are posted without context to places like Telegram and TikTok by individual Ukrainian Soldiers. While well intentioned, the videos lack any form of location for both operational security reasons, and because the Soldier doesn't see the historical importance of a video he filmed in 15 seconds from his fighting position.

We do our best to state when there is a lack of context for footage as well, so that our audience doesn't draw conclusions based on inconclusive and unclear footage.
