Video released by a Russian journalist embedded with Wagner group captures an assault against an entrenched Ukrainian positions on his drone.

The video ends before the gunfight does. We also don't know exactly where this video was filmed.

More importantly, the Russian war journalist who filmed this video has recently been placed under house arrest, joining War Gonzo in the list of independent war journalists from Russia who are currently imprisoned for their coverage of the conflict.

It's unclear why the two have been placed under house arrest, however I believe it may have something do with them wanting to release the full picture of the situation on the ground. While both of the Journalists are frequently known for posting propagandized images from their side of the conflict, my bet is that it was not entirely their choice what is and isn't published.

If either of the two men have access to a secure internet line, we do hope that they reach out to us with footage they're no longer able to publish due to the restrictions of their own government. We will release that footage in an unbiased fashion and ensure that nobody knows they are linked with it. I will even personally see to it that their words are read here on Funker530 from a position of anonymity.
