CCTV footage from the city of Mykolaiv in Ukraine captures artillery rounds landing inside of a residential area. One civilian is nearly killed when a round lands almost on top of them.

They say that close only counts with horseshoes and grenades. Whoever made up that saying has never been nearby when an artillery or mortar round made impact. Artillery and mortar shells are far more deadly as an area effect weapon system them hand grenades, and using them with blatant disregard for human life in a residential area that's still occupied by civilians is a pretty boneheaded move, yet the Russians don't seem to really care.

This footage was recorded on a CCTV camera system in the city of Mykolaiv, which was formally known as Nikolaev. It shows a civilian coming pretty close to death when an artillery shell impacts just feet away from their position.
