Grim footage shows a Russian soldier taking a direct hit and subsequent explosion from a Ukrainian FPV drone during a battle in eastern Ukraine.

The Russian soldier can be seen firing his rifle, although it's not clear if he's trying to shoot the drone down or firing at nearby Ukrainian troops. Suddenly, he sees the drone make its attack approach and he attempts to run, but his effort is futile as the loitering munition easily chases him down. Following the hit, the man can be seen still moving on the ground, although it's likely that his fate is not good.
