Ukrainian BTR Shrugs Off Direct Hit From Russian ATGM

Cell phone video posted to Twitter shows a Ukrainian BTR-4 taking a direct hit from a Russian anti-tank guided missile. It then reverses out of the attack into a position of cover practically unscathed.

From the video alone it's really difficult to tell the extent of the damage caused by this ATGM strike, but the fact that the vehicle was able to pull back off the line and then leave the area is a good sign for the Ukrainians inside. Normally, a hit of this size against a BTR would at the very least render the vehicle a mobility kill.

The specific BTR that the Ukrainians are using is the BTR-4 Bucephalus. It's an 8x8 wheeled infantry fighting vehicle that was designed in Kharkiv by the Kharkiv Morozov Machine Building Design Bureau.
