HIMARS Targets Russian Officers Meeting In Kherson

Drone footage shows a HIMARS or M270 guided rocket (GMLRS) strike on a dwelling that was reportedly hosting a meeting of Russian battlefield commanders in the vicinity of Radens'k, in the southern Kherson region.

Ukrainian reports suggest eight Russian officers were killed and an additional seven were wounded in the strike. We are unable to verify the authenticity of those casualty figures.

The strike not only highlights the Ukrainians ability to strike at range with absolute precision, but is also a testament to their information gathering abilities. The seemingly unassuming structure doesn't appear to be of any importance, but it is likely that Ukrainian signals intelligence (SIGINT) assets intercepted and tracked Russian communications leading up to the strike.
