Combat is absolute chaos. There are a hundred ways for you to die at any given moment in time, and anyone of them can happen if you move left or right at the wrong time. There is no real way to mentally deal with this, other than to just accept it as your reality.

I believe that this video is probably one of the best showcases of that fact that currently exists. Had this Soldier moved a singular second faster, or a singular second slower, he could have ended up being hit by this sniper round dead on, and his life could have ended or been permanently altered.
