Russian Tanker Watches Ukrainian Drone Disassemble His Tank

This footage, provided by a Russian soldier reportedly in the Donetsk region, shows how he watched as a Ukrainian drone destroyed his tank. It is unknown whether the tank was previously disabled or if the crew bailed out early as a precaution.

Even though their destruction is fairly commonplace in this conflict, it must be difficult to watch your tank be destroyed from a distance. The force multiplication and morale boost provided by armor and its firepower are obvious. Then, add in the time you spent with your crew learning to run that tank efficiently. Then watch all of that time, effort, and power get erased, instantaneously. On the other hand, it definitely beats being there for its destruction up close.

If nothing else, this crew can say their tank was all over Donetsk!
