Footage reportedly coming out of Horlivka, Ukraine, shows two Russian SU-25 fighter jets popping flares to presumably avoid Ukrainian anti-air weapons.

It is unclear in the footage whether these pilots utilized these flares to divert incoming Ukrainian fire, but we can safely assume they were used for a legitimate reason. Unlike other videos we have seen over the past few weeks, many pilots have sustained devastating fates. Luckily for these two, they live to fight another day.
