Russian Precision Strike Targets Ukrainian Military Base

The Russian Ministry of Defense released a video showing a precision strike on a Ukrainian military base. Although the footage is recorded by a drone, the Russian MoD claims the precision munition was artillery, so possibly a 2K25 Krasnopol cannon-launched, fin-stabilized, laser-guided, artillery round.

The Krasnopol laser-guided artillery round is traditionally aimed by a ground spotter with a laser illuminator, but in this case may have been tracked onto target by the drone's laser aiming system.

The Russian military claims the strike targeted a weapons and ammunition cache. The number of casualties resulting from the strike isn't known from the footage.
