The Russian Ministry of Defense released footage showing Mi-28 "Havoc" attack helicopters firing guns and missiles at unspecified targets in Ukraine.

Russia designed the Mi-28 to be an answer to America's AH-64 Apache gunship, a tank-killing close air support beast. While the aircraft certainly is capable, the plethora of man portable air defense systems (MANPADS) in Ukraine is making each flight a stressful sweat-fest for Russia's pilots.
