Russian Ka-52 Alligator Stifles Ukrainian Assault In Zaporizhzhia

The Russian military released Ka-52 "Alligator" attack helicopter gun cam footage reportedly showing the destruction of multiple Ukrainian military vehicles on June 04, 2023, in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Specific vehicle identification of the targeted equipment is made difficult by the low video quality. The strikes appear to be carried out using anti tank guided missiles.

Mixed reports from various areas suggest that the much-hyped Ukrainian counter offensive is underway. It's not clear if we are seeing the Ukrainian main assault in action or a feint maneuver to trick the Russians into moving forces away from other areas. The Zaporizhzhia region is notoriously flat and open, making land assaults susceptible to enemy fire.
