Drone footage shows a Russian D30 howitzer battery being targeted by accurate Ukrainian artillery. Several of the Ukrainian artillery rounds can be seen successively detonating within the inner perimeter of the Russian unit.

The use of drones in combat has significantly increased the effectiveness and lethality of artillery operations. Adjustments can be made in realtime with better accuracy than traditional forward observer procedures without the risk of putting soldiers within close proximity to the enemy.
