Ukrainian BMP Engages Russian Positions in Donetsk

Video recorded by a Ukrainian Soldier operating as a member of a BMP-2 crew shows the alleged shelling of Russian positions in the Donetsk region by the vehicle's main gun.

Unfortunately, from the video alone, it's impossible to tell what the effects on target were. This is partially due to bad weather and the smoke from the main gun, and also because of compression on the source of the video itself most likely caused by a poor internet connection at the point of upload.

It's important to remember, at all times, that there are occasions in which video compression caused by poor internet connections near front lines will inherently ruin the quality of a video. On top of this, video compression also can be caused when videos are uploaded and re-uploaded multiple times. This video compression can cause a serious reduction in video quality which also can skew the perspective and destroy the context of a video entirely.
