Russian Armor Parks In Artillery Impact Area

Footage from the battle for Avdiivka shows a large sum of Russian vehicles operating within a relatively small area when Ukrainian artillery begins to fall. Multiple Russian vehicles are hit and destroyed.

Russia has committed eight combat brigades to their offensive to take Avdiivka, a town just north of Donetsk city. Their strategy appears to be crashing as many units into the Ukrainian defenders as possible until the Ukrainians break. However, Ukrainian forces are still holding out, and the cost to Russian lives and equipment is staggering.

In the weeks since the Russian offensive has started, Ukraine claims to have killed approximately 6,000 Russian troops in the Avdiivka area alone. In a single day they claimed to have destroyed almost 50 Russian tanks. Those numbers are not verifiable by us, but we have seen consistent astonishing Russian losses captured on video almost daily.
