Pro-Palestine riots targeted Incirlik air base, a Turkish military installation that houses approximately 2,000 US military personnel as well as approximately 50 American nuclear bombs.

Turkish police deployed water cannons and tear gas in an attempt to disperse the mobs. The demonstrations are taking place in response to Israel's incursion into the Gaza Strip, which is supported by the US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken was scheduled to arrive in Turkey to discuss the Israel-Palestine conflict.
