Video that has surfaced online captures the moment members of the Sons of Abu Jandal conducted an assassination attempt on Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas. At least one of his body guards was killed in the attack.

Just 24 hours after receiving an ultimatum to take action against Israel, an attempt at assassinating the Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas was conducted. The Sons of Abu Jandal organization has officially claimed responsibility for the attack, stating that Palestinian security forces will no longer follow his leadership because he did not denounce statements made by American Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
