Looters Start Crying After Being Caught By South African Private Security

Published July 14, 2021

Footage out of South Africa shows a private security team detaining criminal mobs as they ravage a residential area on a spree of violence and theft in mid July 2021.

Over 70 people have no been killed as a result of the escalating rioting and mass crime spree. What started as a protest against the former president's arrest on contempt charges has rapidly evolved into savage opportunistic theft, violence, and destruction of property. Police forces are overwhelmed and out of ammunition. Civilians are using their personal firearms to defend their businesses, homes, and lives.

So far, over 200 shopping malls have been looted and several buildings and vehicles have been torched. Over a thousand have been arrested. Current President, Cyril Ramaphosa, has deployed a meager 2,500 troops to quell the violence, although he deployed 75,000 in the recent past to enforce Covid lockdowns.
