This video purportedly shows Russian soldiers attacking a Ukrainian dugout. When the ostensibly Ukrainian soldier turns to relieve himself, he is pounced upon by a Russian, who throws a jacket over his head and takes him down, stabbing him repeatedly in the neck.

Why someone would face their own bunker and not keep eyes out for the enemy while taking a leak remains a valid question, and this has given rise to the opinion that this may be staged. Still, it’s human nature to become too relaxed, and there’s no real lower limit on the dumb mistakes tired people can make. Either way, we see another Russian sprint past the takedown and throw a grenade into the dugout. The Russians’ cloaks appear to be made of thermal-blanket-like material.
