Multiple Ukrainian Tochka-U Missiles Launched Towards Russian Positions

Published June 23, 2022

Footage recorded by an unknown unit on the Ukrainian side of the Ukraine-Russia conflict shows multiple Tochka-U missile systems being deployed against what is allegedly a Russian ammunition depot.

It's unclear if this video is in anyway related to the same video of the Russian position being hammered in an unknown Ukrainian artillery strike, however the timelines do seem to match up. In this video, it appears that the Ukrainians have started to stagger their missile launches. This technique is primarily used when the enemy's air-defense systems are advanced enough to destroy your missiles before they can reach their targets. The intent would be to use the first few missiles to distract the air-defense systems while the secondary and tertiary missiles are able to squeeze in through the gaps in coverage.

It also appears as if the Ukrainians in this video are worried about the possibility of an airstrike by Russian forces, as seen by the fact one of the Soldiers is standing at the ready with a MANPAD system.
