Khartoum's Break Dancing Machine Gunner

Cell phone footage released on Facebook by members of the RSF captures combat that was filmed in Khartoum in March of 2024. The amazing footage showcases one of the rarest forms of machine gun gunnery that currently exists, and as far as I know, it has never been replicated by any other gunner.

Break Dance Gunnery, better known as BDG by the greater machine gun community, is a rare form of gunnery that is more akin to a martial art than conventional machine gunnery. In this incredibly rare form of gunnery, the shooter takes increasingly strange positions while engaging their target, making themselves absolutely impossible to kill.

You may have heard tropes like this before: "Tracers work both ways," or "The average lifespan of a machine gunner in a firefight is seven seconds." With the incredibly rare BDG form of gunnery, these things do not apply because the gunner is always in a new fighting stance after every burst of automatic fire from their belt-fed weapon system.

From the poor quality of this video, it may be hard to tell, but you're essentially looking at the Super Saiyan form of machine gunners here.
