Canadian LAV III "Kodiak" Rocks Taliban Compound With 25mm

Video from Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) shows Canadian LAV-III Kodiaks engaging a Taliban-occupied mud hut in response to an early morning ambush.

The light armored vehicle (LAV) was developed by General Dynamic's Canadian subsidiary and is the primary infantry fighting vehicle for both Canada and New Zealand. Additionally, the US Army's Stryker vehicle is derived from the Canadian LAV.

The main gun demonstrated in the video is the M242 Bushmaster 25mm chain gun which is firing high-explosive armor-piercing incendiary rounds. Is it overkill? Maybe, but overkill is often underrated.
