A brief moment of complacency almost costs an Israeli fire team their lives as a Hamas fighter concealed in a bedroom opens fire from only inches away.

It's not known if the IDF troops were in the dwelling acting on specific intelligence or if they were carrying out a general clearing operation. However, their movements are not deliberate as they just meander into the living space, and suddenly hostile rifle fire starts ripping through the walls at them.

Some retreat, others return fire. Some sort of explosion also detonates directly in front of them, possibly a grenade or Hamas suicide belt.
