This short clip from a Chicago PD bodycam depicts an officer who engages an armed suspect. Her weapon malfunctions immediately and she proves utterly incapable of clearing it for almost a full minute.

Although there's room for debate as to the cause of the initial malfunction, she makes no attempt to clear the jam until after she gets on her phone because apparently, her radio is just as useless. She at least manages not to flag anyone. She calls for her partner- presumably to help her instead of addressing the suspect- while continually trying to rack the slide. By the time she realizes she has to remove the mag, she's likely caused a Type 3 by feeding more ammo. The pressure prevents her from stripping the mag. She then heads back into the engagement despite her weapon still being inoperable, still demanding that her partner come back to her.

Holy shit , Chicago PD.
