Car Explodes At US-Canada Border Crossing

A vehicle exploded at the US-Canada Rainbow Bridge border crossing on Nov. 22, 2023 causing all US-Canada border crossings to be shut down.

New York Governor Kathy Hochul said, "...the New York State Police is actively working with the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force to monitor all points of entry to New York," suggesting that the cause of the explosion may be terror-related.

However, witness testimony claimed the car was traveling at an extremely high rate of speed and swerved to avoid rear-ending another vehicle. The car then appeared to lose control and crash before bursting into a massive fireball, according to the witness statement.

Officials have yet to report as to whether deaths or injuries resulted from caused the blast. Images from the scene shows at least one vehicle absolutely ripped to pieces and burnt out.

This is a developing story, and we will provide updates if and when necessary.
