VDV Shuts Down Ukrainian Assault In Soledar

Russian channels released footage they claim shows Russian VDV paratroopers repelling a Ukrainian ground assault in Soledar.

The Ukrainians initiate their attack with mine clearing line charges (MCLC) in hopes to open a path toward their objective. An attack helo buzzes the ground and pops flares, it is likely Russian. Multiple Ukrainian tanks and APCs make it through the mine field but are met with heavy resistance and some take direct hits.

The Ukrainians suffer multiple casualties among their infantry forces. The footage ends with a landscape scene of an entire built-up area being blanketed in incendiary munitions, likely fired by the Russians.
