Footage with an unexpected ending shows a Ukrainian marksman engaging Russian troops at night with the aid of a thermal rifle scope. The marksman pops a few shots at one heat signature that is either hit or takes cover. He then quickly transitions to the other exposed enemy soldier and squeezes off a round. The bullet somehow manages to detonate an explosive munition that was in the possession of the Russian soldier, which likely killed the targeted troop.
