Fighting on the ground in the Ukrainian city of Severodonetsk continues today as members of a Ukrainian National Guard unit are recorded holding off a Russian advance along the city's frontline.

The footage you're seeing above was recently recorded during the still on-going battle for Severodonetsk. It's filmed from the perspective of a Ukrainian National Guard unit that is holding one of the avenues of advance for Russian forces.

In Severodonetsk, Ukrainian troops and the all volunteer foreign legion unit appear to be doing a good job of drawing the Russians into close range firefights which reduces the Russian artillery advantage.
