Five minutes of high definition combat footage showing an engagement between the Ukrainian International Legion and Russian forces was just released from the Bakhmut region.

This is floating around a lot of Telegram channels right now. According to the text embedded in the video by who I am assuming is the guy who recorded the combat footage, The purpose of this patrol was to push back a lightly defended Russian trenchline so that Ukrainian troops could move forward and capture that ground from Russian forces.

When the international legion fighters got close to the position, the intelligence that they had initially received was wrong. Instead of finding five to ten Russian Soldiers in their trench, they encountered a platoon-sized unit of Russian troops reinforced with a T-90 main battle tank. The video above is the gunfight that occurred before the Ukrainians made the decision to pull back to a safer location.
