This footage, provided by Ukraine's 93rd Mechanized Brigade, shows one of their Gvozdika 122-millimeter howitzers conducting a fire mission against Russian forces in the Donbas region.

The 2S1 Gvozdika (Carnation) is a self-propelled howitzer of Soviet origin, having been in service in various countries since 1972. This crew's Gvozdika is shown in a hull-down, camouflaged configuration. It is armed with a 122mm gun, capable of firing HE (high explosive), leaflet, HE/RAP, armor-piercing HE, flechette and chemical rounds. Regarding the rounds, it is interesting to note that the details normally visible on the ammunition are censored here. Ukraine has been working with a dire shortage of artillery ammunition, and it is presumable that some donor and/or vendor nations do not wish to be disclosed.
