Russian Column Gets Wrecked Before Retreating

Drone footage shows a recent failed Russian armored assault attempt in the vicinity of Krasnohorivka, a suburb of Donetsk city, just west of town.

The armored column consisting of tanks and BTRs drives in a single file to mitigate the risk of AT mines. They soon come under accurate artillery fire and multiple vehicles are hit. The column rapidly changes course and starts returning to whence they came, but not before multiple pieces of equipment are lost. Infantry troop squads can be seen dismounting and retreating on foot.

Russia has lost a ridiculous amount of troops and equipment just a few miles to the north around Avdiivka. This attempt to move on Krasnohorivka may either be a diversion to get Ukraine to move troops away from Avdiivka, or perhaps they have given up on Avdiivka and now set their sights on Krasnohorivka. Regardless, it appears the results will be the same; heavy losses with little gain for Russian forces.
