Ukrainian Artillery Team In Action With WWII Era Howitzer

A Ukrainian artillery team was recorded while firing on Russian positions using an M101 105mm howitzer.

The vintage artillery piece was donated to Ukraine by Lithuania after the invasion of Russia earlier this year. Although the cannon was provided by Lithuania, the gun itself was developed by the United States and produced sometime between 1941 and 1953.

While not as new or accurate as an M777 firing M982 Excalibur rounds, the M101 appears to be well-maintained and gives the Ukrainians the mens to continue to resist and counter the Russian occupation.
