UA Motorized Infantry Assault Russian Trench

Interesting birds-eye-view footage shows a Ukrainian motorized infantry assault on a Russian trench position.

Their technique is fairly solid, the follow vehicle initially stays in file with the lead vehicle to minimize the chance of hitting buried AT mines. Upon reaching the trench, the two APCs fan out and begin suppressing the trench line with heavy machine gun fire.

A squad of infantry dismounts one of the vehicles and flanks right to enter the end of he trench. Once they have established a foothold, a second squad joins them. At that point, the APCs have done their job and withdraw before being targeted. The infantry are now in command of their own destinies as they go head-to-head with entrenched Russian troops.
