Another perspective of a video posted recently by Will in which a Ukrainian Bradley infantry fighting vehicle wrecks a Russian MT-LB in eastern Ukraine. The Russian vehicle enters from the right and delivers its load of infantry, who tumble unceremoniously to the ground. We then get a brief view from the Bradley’s perspective before it fires, and we see the thin-skinned armored personnel carrier takes a rough pounding from the Bushmaster 25mm chain gun mounted in the Bradley’s turret. Several bursts strike the Russian APC in the track and the rear, causing it to burst into flames.

In recent weeks Russia has attacked along much of the front, flinging antiquated vehicles like the MT-LB and conscripts by the bushel at Ukrainian defenses. This relentless push, coupled with Ukrainian shortages in materiel, caused by delays in the delivery of lethal aid from some western allies, has forced the Ukrainians to cede some ground and retract their lines. The Bradley has proved a formidable system in Ukrainian hands, and it is hoped that the delivery of more such vehicles, along with artillery shells, air defense systems, and ATACMs, will permit Ukraine to smack aside this latest Russian push.
