(NSFW) Manned Russian Foxhole Destroyed by Drone Munitions

An uncovered foxhole manned by Russian Soldiers near Bakhmut is destroyed by a drone dropped munition. The round lands directly in the fighting position with the Soldiers.

How Russian forces are still struggling to conduct basic camouflage on their fighting positions is a mystery. Camouflage is a basic tactic taught to all entry level recruits in most professional militaries, and when it comes to the defense it's a core principle used to obscure your fighting positions from not only direct attacks, but also from indirect observation techniques.

At their core, commercial drones are a textbook example of indirect observation when looked at through the lens of someone on the battlefield. Top cover should be paramount for all Russian and Ukrainian fighting positions in the current conflict regardless of how much extra work it takes the troops in the field. An extra 8 hours of work camouflaging your position could be the difference between life and death, yet still we're seeing Russian troops failing to realize this on a near daily basis.

This is why 4 weeks of training does not make a military fighting force. It takes more than a body in uniform to fight a war.
