A Turkish UAV spots a group of Syrian Arab Army troops launching a small drone, they then dial in a direct artillery strike to destroy the drone team.

I'm going to be honest with you on this one. These guys never stood a snowball's chance in hell. The second the UAV spotted them, the artillery team began dialing in the coordinates and preparing their strike. Once the round left the tube, these men were already dead, they just didn't know it yet.

Even if they survived the direct hit from the artillery strike, they most likely died in the aftermath of the explosion because they were on the roof of a building launching a drone of their own. That drone gave them exactly zero actionable intelligence, and ultimately cost them their lives.
