Footage recorded by an Afghan Civilian shows the beginning of the Battle of Kabul which is taking place right now. Civilians in the streets can be heard screaming as gunfire erupts in all directions.

The city of Kabul is now officially under siege as members of the Taliban have already started taking control of outskirt regions. Paghman, a city of 120,000 people, is now allegedly being occupied by Taliban forces, with the city's Police District 12 allegedly having active gunfights happening between Afghan Forces and the Taliban.

All of this is occurring while American and British civilians are still on the ground inside of Kabul. I believe we are officially seeing the beginning of the Fall of Kabul. There is still no official word when Marines and Soldiers who are supposed to be there to conduct a partial evacuation of U.S. citizens will be on the ground.

Update:As of an hour ago, at 6pm EST the first U.S. Marines have landed at the embassy in Kabul to begin evacuating civilians.
