Footage shows a Ukrainian soldier launching a US-made Switchblade 300 loiter munition, and the videos is slowed which allows the viewer to see the munition deploy its wings.

The Switchblade 300 carries a light explosive payload and isn't designed for striking heavy armor. It is intended to destroy enemy in the open or light-skinned technical vehicles. However, there is a Switchblade 600 that is designed with anti tank operations in mind.

Loiter munitions, also referred to as Kamikaze drones and suicide drones, are designed to fly above enemy positions until a suitable target is discovered, at which point the device dives onto the target and detonates its payload.
