Footage shows a Mexican criminal gang drone dropping improvised firebombs onto positions of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) in Mazamitla, Jalisco. Mexican cartels using drones to drop munitions is not a new phenomenon, as we have blogged similar videos in the past with CJNG being the ones piloting them.

The munitions themselves almost appear to be soda bottles filled some sort of fuel and propellent with an undetermined detonation mechanism. The construction is certainly crude compared to the designs and techniques currently being fielded in Ukraine.
