News footage coming out of the Syrian city of Al-Suwayda today captures Syrian Regime forces opening fire on protesters. At least one person was killed and another individual was seriously wounded.

The city of Al-Suwayda was the point of friction in Syria today as protesters from throughout the region attacked the attacked the "Saraya" building of the Damascus-based government with stones and other instruments today. During the protests, multiple men entered the building and tore a picture of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad off of the wall while demanding "the overthrow of the regime."

These protests were quickly met with gunfire from regime forces in the area who were dispatched to quell the protests. The video above was recorded by the Suwayda News Agency, who is reporting at least one individual was killed and another was seriously wounded during the initial response from regime forces..
