Interesting and somewhat uncommon footage recorded on the rare cellphone of a Russian Soldier shows a gunfight taking place between Ukrainian and Russian positions near Avdiivka, Ukraine.

Let me preface this by first saying there is no such thing as uncommon or rare footage. Once something is on the internet, access to it becomes infinite for the entire online population of the world. What's uncommon and rare about this footage however is the fact that is was recorded on a Russian Soldier's potato of a cell phone.

For the most part, the Russian forces have done a pretty good job of preventing their troops from carrying their cell phones into combat. This is not only because the cell phones represent a clear threat to the infosec and opsec of their troops on the deck, but because the Russians don't want their troops able to send video from the war home directly to their families via encrypted text messaging applications.
