Russian Positions Hammered by Ukrainian Mortars

FLIR drone video released by the Ukrainian 36th Marine Brigade shows Russian positions being hammered by what is allegedly 82mm mortars. The Russians still have not learned to cover their fighting positions.

The insane thing about this entire conflict is the Russians complete inability to adapt to the tactical situation on the ground. I think most sane individuals thrust into the center of a conflict against a technologically superior force would have figured out by now that having constant top cover for your fighting position is an absolute must. Even the Taliban and AQI fighters in Afghanistan and Iraq, who didn't even know that night vision or FLIR existed, figured out tactics and techniques to make it so they didn't get obliterated by this technology.

But here we are, almost a full year into this conflict with a majority of that time seeing Russian positions being destroyed due to drone surveillance, and yet we're still seeing entirely uncovered Russian fighting positions. There really isn't an excuse for this level of incompetence.
