Drone footage released by a Russian Telegram source shows the alleged destruction of a Ukrainian Command and Control post by Russian artillery.

It is being reported by Russian sources that this footage shows the destruction of a Ukrainian command post near Lysichansk. We are unable to currently independently verify that information. Should more information about this specific strike become available through more reliable sources than Russian Telegram channels, we will update this post.

Now, let me address an email we received last night. Around 2 AM someone made the decision to write us a lengthy email. In it, they claimed we're support Ukrainian propaganda by not reporting the Russian perspective. Let me be perfectly clear on this. We have always showed the Russian perspective of the war in Ukraine when that information and video footage is released.

We have not however always been able to independently verify the validity of Russian claims. If we were to boldly jump onto every Russian claim like it was Gospel, then we would be doing ourselves a disservice, as the Russians have proven time and time again that they are willing to release false information if it furthers their propaganda war against the rest of the world. For that reason, unless we are able to independently verify Russian information through at least one other unbiased source, we do not state that information as fact.

Why is that the case you ask? Well, because Russian Telegram channels are probably also stating that this artillery strike killed 80 Ukrainian Generals, the President of the United States, and half of NATO's forces in Poland. Let's be realistic guys. Also, I totally stole that last line from a Redditor.
